CHANTILLY, June 15 (OLA NEWS) <\/strong>– Christophe Soumillon claimed a commanding victory in the prestigious\u00a02025 Prix de Diane Longines<\/strong>\u00a0this Sunday at the\u00a0Chantilly Racecourse<\/strong>, reaffirming his status as one of the sport\u2019s elite jockeys. Riding\u00a0Gezora<\/strong>, a filly from the Wertheimer & Fr\u00e8re stable, Soumillon led the 2,100-meter race for three-year-old fillies with confidence and control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day unfolded under clear skies and drew a record crowd to Chantilly, a spectacle of elegance and excitement. Thousands gathered on the lawns and grandstands, draped in Longines colors, for what is widely considered the most glamorous event of the French racing calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gezora<\/strong>, trained by Carlos Laffon-Parias, broke away in the final stretch, leaving Matawa<\/strong> (ridden by Micka\u00ebl Barzalona) and Fleur du Nord<\/strong> to fight for the remaining podium places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
