Paris, June 26 (OLA NEWS) \u2013 The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace on Wednesday, as tensions over Iran\u2019s nuclear program surged following recent military strikes and diplomatic fallout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grossi\u2019s visit comes days after US and Israeli forces targeted key Iranian nuclear sites, prompting Tehran\u2019s parliament to suspend cooperation with the IAEA and accuse the agency of failing to condemn the attacks. Macron, returning from the NATO summit in The Hague, emphasized the urgency of restoring the IAEA\u2019s mission in Iran and reaffirmed France\u2019s support for the agency\u2019s oversight role.
